- Direct cross-functional teams—including developers, analysts, and external vendors—to ensure alignment with strategic business goals and IT modernization objectives.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to maximize efficiency and mitigate risks in a dynamic environment.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications to maintain transparency and drive consensus.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with federal and state regulations, including accessibility standards (WCAG) and data privacy laws.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong preference for experience within the public sector or a large enterprise organization.
- Proven expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a PMP or PgMP certification highly preferred.
- Strong technical background with experience managing software development lifecycles and cloud infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
