Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems, networks, and software applications to support county operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or similar are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols, network architecture, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
