Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the city's core IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Lead the implementation of enterprise security protocols to safeguard sensitive citizen data and government assets.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to ensure 99.9% uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new software solutions and digital tools.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and analysts.
- Respond to critical system incidents and coordinate emergency IT support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or government technology roles.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity best practices, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
