Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level IT solutions for state agencies.
- Conduct advanced system analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scopes.
- Ensure strict compliance with state cybersecurity standards, data privacy laws, and CJIS regulations.
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct technical training sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of hardware and software assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or software development within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with database management systems, specifically SQL.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP are highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain a state security clearance and pass a comprehensive background check.
