Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level IT infrastructure and software applications.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Lead and mentor junior IT staff, conducting code reviews and technical training sessions.
- Ensure strict compliance with state security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize operational efficiency.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for critical government systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in software development or systems administration.
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and database management systems (SQL).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to various county facilities.
