Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols for federal systems.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DoD security policies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT infrastructure resilience.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal IT or cybersecurity environments.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
