Responsibilities
- Oversee the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of federal IT infrastructure across multiple data centers.
- Implement and manage robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data from unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable cloud solutions and network architectures.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for complex federal applications and systems.
- Manage software licensing, hardware inventory, and vendor relationships to optimize operational costs.
- Document technical processes and maintain detailed logs of system configurations and security incidents.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government contracting environments.
- Strong working knowledge of network security, firewalls, encryption, and identity management (IAM).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud) in a regulated environment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
