We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Technology Specialist to join our federal team in Oklahoma City, OK. Responsibilities
- Manage and secure the federal network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Develop and maintain custom software applications to support agency operations and reporting.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to ensure compliance with NIST and federal security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable IT architectures and cloud solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to junior IT staff members.
- Document technical processes, create user manuals, and prepare compliance reports for oversight committees.
- Respond to and resolve complex IT incidents and service tickets with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or related government contracting.
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework, Agile methodologies, and federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license for occasional site visits to federal facilities.
