Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex IT infrastructure projects for state agencies.
- Ensure strict compliance with government security standards, including HIPAA and FISMA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and develop strategic solutions.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and external contractors.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or systems analysis within the public or private sector.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance regulations.
- Proven experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and enterprise software integration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- US Citizenship required for government clearance.
