Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and networks to support high-volume government operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state cybersecurity standards, data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA), and FISMA requirements.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting, system administration, and end-user support for internal staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives and improve service delivery.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance assessments, and risk analyses to ensure optimal functionality and security.
- Manage software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical role within the public sector or similar environment.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Project Management Professional (PMP), or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal and state IT security policies, including NIST and FISMA compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
