Responsibilities
- Lead IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of IT systems to support government operations.
- Policy Analysis & Compliance: Analyze data and trends to support policy-making decisions and ensure strict adherence to state and federal regulations.
- Public Safety Initiatives: Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services departments to enhance communication and data security protocols.
- Project Leadership: Manage cross-departmental projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- System Optimization: Conduct regular audits and assessments to improve system performance and user experience for government employees and the public.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a government or public sector IT environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
