Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale IT projects from initiation through closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and vendors, to ensure project deliverables align with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize disruption.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, provide status reports, and manage expectations to maintain transparency and trust.
- Ensure all project activities comply with state procurement policies, security standards, and IT governance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a government or large enterprise environment.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading IT infrastructure and software development projects.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
