Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects from initiation, planning, execution, and closure within the state agency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Communicate project status, risks, and successes to all stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management within the public sector or a large enterprise environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
