Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closure) for government IT systems.
- Ensure projects align with the Digital Service Standard and government policies.
- Stakeholder management, including reporting to senior officials and engaging with third-party vendors.
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the development of project management best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing large-scale IT projects within the public sector or highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of Prince2, MSP, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
