Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of complex IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, time, and budget requirements.
- Manage stakeholders across various departments, including executive leadership, vendors, and government partners.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
- Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to drive project delivery and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, procurement policies, and cybersecurity standards.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, status updates, and stakeholder reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the public sector or large enterprise environment.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) or CAPM certification is required.
- Proven experience managing budgets over $1 million.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and modern technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
