Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex federal information systems and networks in compliance with FISMA standards.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to safeguard sensitive government data.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for end-users and federal applications in a high-security environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate cloud solutions.
- Document system configurations, security protocols, and incident reports in accordance with federal regulations.
- Monitor system performance and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical government services.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or similar high-security settings.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GS-13 equivalent certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network architecture, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with government stakeholders.
