Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of federal information systems and networks.
- Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Conduct system performance tuning, analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable IT solutions aligned with federal standards.
- Manage software licensing, hardware inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity within a federal or government environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations such as FISMA, NIST, and DoD instruction 5200.01.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
