Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrading of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) across government facilities.
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols to protect sensitive citizen data and state infrastructure from cyber threats.
- Configure and manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and training to non-technical staff and government departments.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state IT regulations, including HIPAA and FISMA standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or a related government role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 suite.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
