Responsibilities
- Implement and Manage Security Protocols: Design, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Perform comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify potential threats to federal information systems.
- Incident Response: Lead the response to security breaches and cyber incidents, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Compliance Audits: Ensure strict adherence to federal laws, regulations, and security standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Network Security Administration: Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.
- Credential Management: Manage the authentication and authorization processes for federal personnel access.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Active CISSP, Security+, or similar DoD approved certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in information systems security or network administration.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
