Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure and network systems across state facilities.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
- Monitor system performance, security logs, and data integrity to prevent breaches and downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
- Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with state and federal IT policies and regulations.
- Install, configure, and manage servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
- Train staff on new technologies and best practices for data security and usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP), VPNs, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to obtain a State of Ohio background check and security clearance.
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
