Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee network administration including firewalls, VPNs, and active directory
- Provide technical leadership for cross-functional IT projects
- Document systems architecture and maintain compliance standards
- Train staff on new technologies and security best practices
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in enterprise IT systems administration
- Expertise in Azure/AWS cloud platforms and virtualization
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Experience with government IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
