Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments and Active Directory services.
- Implement and enforce rigorous security protocols to ensure full compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and OMB mandates.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable IT solutions using cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and virtualization platforms.
- Execute system backups, disaster recovery planning, and perform routine audits to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with strategic agency goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration within a large-scale enterprise or government environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Server technologies (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
