Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex server environments, including Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance with state regulations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical network infrastructure and hardware issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or Azure Administrator) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government setting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
