Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and software solutions to support city operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Oversee system performance, security protocols, and data integrity standards across the municipal network.
- Conduct feasibility studies and recommend technology upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation through deployment, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to development teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, preferably within the public sector or large enterprise.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Proven experience managing IT projects and demonstrating PMP or ITIL certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
