Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT systems and solutions that align with city strategic goals.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for developers and stakeholders.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical system outages and performance issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow automation and process efficiency.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and IT staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT analysis, system architecture, or a related government or public sector role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise software integration.
- Deep understanding of ITIL framework and government compliance standards (FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
