Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system design and development.
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical state-wide IT systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to ensure project success.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to ensure data integrity and security compliance.
- Document technical processes, system configurations, and user manuals for knowledge transfer.
- Provide high-level technical support and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Ensure all IT solutions align with state regulations and security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, design, and implementation.
- Experience working in a government or large-scale enterprise environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
