Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension applications, retirement calculations, and benefit requests with high accuracy.
- Conduct thorough data analysis of member accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to retirees and public sector stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Collaborate with the finance and HR departments to resolve complex payroll and benefit discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state privacy laws and retention policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements for the pension administration workflow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or government payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of retirement plans, 401(k), or state pension systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain data integrity under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with ERPs or pension administration software.
- Mandatory availability to work a Night Shift schedule (typically 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM).
