Responsibilities
- Process Claims: Review and process pension applications, retirement claims, and survivor benefits strictly under night shift protocols.
- Compliance Auditing: Perform rigorous auditing of financial records to ensure strict adherence to federal and state government regulations.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve calculation errors or discrepancies in benefit packages with a focus on 100% accuracy.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay current on changes to government pension laws (e.g., FERS, CSRS) and update internal procedures accordingly.
- Beneficiary Support: Provide exceptional support to retirees and beneficiaries via secure communication channels during evening hours.
- Data Integrity: Maintain high standards of data entry and record-keeping for long-term archiving.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, government benefits processing, or actuarial services.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM or 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or government-specific portals).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and relevant government compliance frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
