Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and analysis for state legislation
- Develop policy briefs and recommendations for executive leadership
- Collaborate with state agencies on implementation strategies
- Analyze fiscal impact of proposed policies and programs
- Present findings to stakeholders via reports and presentations
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Massachusetts
- Mentor junior policy analysts on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Proficiency with statistical software (R, Stata, SPSS)
- Deep understanding of Massachusetts state government structure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
