Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare legislation and propose evidence-based policy recommendations
- Collaborate with congressional committees and federal stakeholders on healthcare reform initiatives
- Lead cross-agency task forces addressing public health emergencies
- Develop strategic briefing papers for senior agency leadership
- Oversee implementation of the Affordable Care Act provisions
- Conduct economic impact assessments for proposed regulations
- Mentor junior analysts on federal compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Health Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of federal policy analysis experience with HHS or similar agency
- Expertise in healthcare economics and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, Stata)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proven track record of briefing congressional leadership
- Familiarity with OMB and GSA regulatory processes
