Responsibilities
- Research and analyze local, state, and federal policies affecting municipal governance
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative data analysis using statistical software
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions with community groups and agencies
- Monitor implementation progress of adopted policies and measure outcomes
- Present findings to City Council committees and public forums
- Manage policy-related special projects with tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (SPSS, R)
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Strong knowledge of Ohio municipal governance structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license
