Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations aligned with state priorities and federal requirements
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership and legislative committees
- Coordinate interdepartmental stakeholder engagement to ensure policy coherence
- Monitor implementation outcomes and recommend adjustments based on performance metrics
- Represent the agency at public forums and legislative hearings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis and statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS)
- Proven ability to draft clear, actionable policy documents and legislation
- Knowledge of Georgia state government structure and legislative processes
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Valid Georgia driver's license
