Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals, regulatory changes, and emerging trends affecting Washington's economy
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for agency leadership and state legislators
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with industry leaders, community organizations, and government partners
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for public officials
- Monitor implementation of state policies and evaluate effectiveness
- Lead cross-functional projects addressing economic mobility and digital inclusion
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, R, Python)
- Strong understanding of Washington's legislative processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
