Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues across housing, transportation, and sustainability
- Develop data-driven recommendations for City Council and executive leadership
- Prepare concise policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Collaborate with 20+ city departments on cross-functional initiatives
- Manage public engagement processes including community forums
- Monitor federal/state legislation affecting municipal operations
- Maintain compliance with Denver's equity and inclusion standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management
- Knowledge of Colorado municipal governance structures
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Clear background check and security clearance
