Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and impact assessments for municipal initiatives
- Analyze legislative/regulatory changes and recommend compliance strategies
- Develop detailed policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for City Council
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions with community groups and agencies
- Monitor budget allocations and evaluate program effectiveness
- Present findings to elected officials through clear visual reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Expertise in municipal governance frameworks and Texas state regulations
- Superior written/verbal communication with public speaking skills
- Proven project management with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
