Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate state legislation, regulations, and policy impacts
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for executive leadership
- Coordinate stakeholder engagements including public hearings and interagency meetings
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced data analysis tools
- Monitor emerging policy trends and best practices nationwide
- Prepare clear, concise reports for legislative committees and public dissemination
- Lead cross-functional task forces on priority initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in Florida state legislative processes and regulations
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Professional certification in public policy (e.g., CPPP) preferred
