Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Develop policy briefs and recommendations for executive leadership
- Collaborate with 15+ state agencies on cross-functional initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Manage grant programs with $5M+ annual budgets
- Lead data visualization projects using Tableau/Power BI
- Mentor junior analysts in policy research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, or SAS)
- Expertise in Tennessee legislative processes
- Strong written communication with 50+ published reports
- Active TN government security clearance
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
