Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate state policy proposals using quantitative analysis
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with local governments and community groups
- Prepare legislative briefs and fiscal impact statements for General Assembly
- Manage cross-functional projects with 5+ agency partners
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R/Stata/SAS)
- Experience with Virginia state budget processes
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
