Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and federal regulations for compliance implications
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Collaborate with agency directors to implement policy initiatives across 15+ departments
- Prepare comprehensive briefings for legislative committees and executive leadership
- Monitor emerging policy trends and conduct comparative analysis with other states
- Manage stakeholder engagement with local governments, NGOs, and industry partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, Stata)
- Deep knowledge of Georgia's legislative process and administrative structure
- Superior written communication with demonstrated policy briefing experience
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proven project management with multi-stakeholder coordination
