Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues to inform legislative recommendations
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation strategies for state agencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align policy objectives with operational goals
- Monitor federal/state legislative changes and assess potential impacts on Illinois residents
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear data visualizations and executive summaries

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Strong understanding of Illinois state government operations and budget processes
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Valid Illinois driver's license and ability to travel statewide as needed
