Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft actionable recommendations for city council
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using municipal datasets
- Collaborate with 15+ departments to implement equitable policies
- Present findings to elected officials and community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects with $2M+ budgets
- Lead cross-functional task forces on emerging urban challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years government/nonprofit policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, or Python)
- Demonstrated success in community engagement initiatives
- Knowledge of Minnesota municipal governance structures
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Clearances for public trust position required
