Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership
- Collaborate with 20+ DC agencies to develop and implement strategic initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced data analytics tools
- Present policy recommendations to the Mayor's Office and City Council
- Monitor federal legislation and assess impacts on local governance
- Manage cross-functional project teams with $5M+ budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in municipal/government settings
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS)
- Demonstrated success in influencing high-stakes policy decisions
- Deep knowledge of DC's governmental structure and regulatory framework
- Valid DC government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
