Responsibilities
- Analyze complex health data and trends to inform state policy recommendations
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies
- Secure and manage federal/state grant funding initiatives
- Legislative liaison for health policy advocacy and compliance
- Lead interdepartmental task forces on emerging health crises
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Oversee program evaluation and quality improvement processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/public sector
- Expertise in healthcare regulations and Medicaid programs
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Strong legislative advocacy and grant writing experience
- Tennessee state residency required
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
