Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate evidence-based public health policies for Los Angeles County populations
- Analyze epidemiological data and health trends to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with local health departments, community organizations, and legislative stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams on public health emergency response initiatives
- Monitor federal and state health regulations to ensure compliance and advocacy
- Present findings to policymakers and community stakeholders through compelling narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in health policy analysis or public health program management
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis and health equity frameworks
- Proven ability to develop policy recommendations with measurable outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience across government and community sectors
- Knowledge of California's public health code and Medi-Cal systems
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel within Los Angeles County
