Responsibilities

- Manage media relations and serve as primary spokesperson for assigned initiatives
- Create compelling content for digital platforms, press releases, and public reports
- Lead crisis communications and emergency response messaging
- Analyze public sentiment and adjust communication tactics accordingly

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in government/public sector communications
- Proven expertise in crisis communication and media relations
- Advanced writing/editing skills with portfolio samples
- Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal) and analytics tools
- Valid Washington State Driver's License
