Responsibilities
- Architect Qubit Control Systems: Design and implement control software for superconducting qubits with a focus on error mitigation and coherence time optimization.
- Simulation Modeling: Develop high-fidelity simulation models to predict qubit behavior under various environmental noise conditions.
- Algorithm Development: Collaborate with quantum algorithm researchers to translate theoretical models into executable quantum circuits.
- Hardware Integration: Bridge the gap between our cryogenic hardware team and our software developers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Performance Tuning: Continuously monitor system metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize quantum gate fidelity.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum control, or advanced simulation (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, Project Q).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and linear algebra; experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, IBM Quantum).
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex physical and mathematical problems in real-time.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
