Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and subject matter experts to define requirements.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Maintain existing legacy systems and migrate them to modern architectures where applicable.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, ISO).
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
