Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system enhancements.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions and database management systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government security standards, including FISMA and NIST frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Provide advanced technical mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
- Manage project lifecycles from inception to deployment, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis and software development within the public sector or large enterprise.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and/or C#.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of government procurement processes and data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
