Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements to design scalable technical solutions for government agencies.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems and legacy modernization projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local government security and compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA).
- Mentor junior analysts and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software engineering, or a related technical role within the public sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and cloud-based technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Valid California Driver’s License and willingness to travel to county facilities.
