Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and software solutions for city departments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and provide technical support during the deployment phase.
- Maintain and upgrade existing legacy systems to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
- Develop and document technical procedures, user manuals, and training materials.
- Ensure all IT projects adhere to federal, state, and local government regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with government systems and knowledge of public sector data security protocols is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check.
